Job Description

CDL-A Company Driver — Local & Regional Agricultural Freight Griffin Truck Lines is hiring dependable CDL-A company drivers for local and regional agricultural-commodity hauling throughout the Southeast. We are a locally operated transportation company based in Leesburg/Albany, Georgia. Our work is practical, steady, and important: moving agricultural products safely and efficiently for the customers who depend on us. This position is a good fit for a professional driver who values consistent communication, safe equipment, clear expectations, and being treated with respect.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Haul agricultural and commercial freight throughout the Southeast Operate hopper-bottom, walking-floor, dry-van, and tanker equipment as assigned Complete required inspections, logs, paperwork, and electronic records Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and receiving facilities Secure, protect, and deliver each load safely and on time Maintain a clean, safe truck and report maintenance concerns promptly

Automatic transmissions Electronic logging devices Professionally maintained fleet
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation is discussed during the interview and is based on qualifications, experience, driving history, and position fit Vacation pay Holiday pay Local and regional work throughout the Southeast Direct communication with dispatch and management Health insurance
SCHEDULE AND HOME TIME
Routes, start times, workdays, overnight stays, weekend requirements, and home time vary based on customer needs, route assignments, and seasonal agricultural demand. These expectations will be explained clearly during the interview before any offer is accepted.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Class A CDL Must be at least 21 years old Meets all applicable DOT qualifications Safe, dependable, and professional work history Agricultural-freight or heavy-equipment experience is preferred All violations and accidents are reviewed Disqualifying violations, preventable accidents, or failed drug or alcohol tests will not be accepted This is not a position for someone who cuts corners, ignores equipment problems, or needs constant supervision. We are looking for drivers who show up, communicate, take safety seriously, and do the job right.
