Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for cars and a commitment to excellence? As a Lot Operations & Inventory Specialist at Finnicum Motor Company, you are the backbone of our vehicle presentation and logistics. You will ensure our inventory is showroom-ready, safe, and perfectly positioned. From coordinating vehicle movements to identifying maintenance needs, your work directly impacts our customers' first impressions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities To excel in this role, you will manage a variety of operational tasks, including but not limited to:
Vehicle Logistics:
Safely transport vehicles along designated routes and coordinate movements between departments.
Inventory Presentation:
Perform daily "lot walks" to ensure every vehicle is fueled, clean, and positioned according to company standards. Coordinate with the detailing team for "freshen-ups" to maintain a retail-ready appearance.
Technical Oversight:
Act as the first line of defense for vehicle health. Monitor and report the need for minor repairs and routine maintenance (oil changes, tire replacements, engine tune-ups, and filter changes).
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all vehicles are operated safely and that any mechanical or safety concerns are immediately escalated to the supervisor.
Operational Support:
Maintain accurate logs or reports regarding vehicle status and perform other duties as needed to support the dealership's efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 years of related experience in automotive logistics, detailing, or a similar field is a plus.
Licensing:
Must possess a current, valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes).
Physical Ability:
Comfortable performing manual tasks and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Soft Skills:
A self-starter who works well independently but can also build professional relationships with teammates and customers.
Communication:
