Light Touch Additional Information CDL-A Driver - Local TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support local operations. This position offers steady work, a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Competitive pay based on assignment

Local routes are home daily; overnight routes consist of single-night out-and-back trips
Overnights:

Load Type:
General freight, primarily drop and hook.
Handling:
Approximately 85-90% pull-off-and-sign , with breakdowns required at times
Equipment:
Single- and double-axle day cabs pulling primarily 53' dry van trailers
Transmission:
Automatic CDL-A Driver Minimum Requirements:
License:
Valid CDL-A Previous commercial driving experience Ability to safely operate day cabs and dry van trailers Ability to handle freight and perform breakdowns when required Clean Motor Vehicle Record Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL-A Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate a CDL-A day cab on assigned local and regional routes Deliver freight to assigned customers while following company and DOT safety standards Complete pull-off-and-sign deliveries and perform freight breakdowns when required Safely handle and secure freight throughout the delivery process Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations Follow all company safety procedures and delivery protocols Complete occasional single-night overnight routes when assigned or requested
Overnight Route Details:
Routes are structured as out-and-back trips with a single night out Hotel accommodations and meals are paid for Overnight work is generally not required. Full-time associates may be required to run overnight routes
