Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for towing or delivery. Secure loads following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Perform vehicle diagnostics and automotive repairs when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to address minor issues. Follow safe vehicle loading procedures onto tow trucks, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assist customers with roadside assistance needs, providing excellent service while managing conflict situations professionally. Execute vehicle recovery towing for accidents or breakdowns, ensuring prompt and safe service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle various tow truck models. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations effectively. Knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and experience with minor mechanical repairs on-site or in-shop.
