We are seeking a dependable, professional, and safety-conscious Commercial Van Driver to join our team. This position involves operating a commercial cargo van to transport and deliver goods safely and efficiently to destinations throughout the Atlanta area and across state lines. This is an on-the-road position that includes both local and long-distance/interstate travel. The ideal candidate is comfortable spending extended periods on the road, is flexible regarding routes and schedules, and understands that certain assignments may require overnight or multi-day travel. A CDL is not required for this position. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, responsible, and capable of representing our company professionally while interacting with customers and completing deliveries. Responsibilities Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Secure and handle cargo safely and efficiently. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, fluids, safety equipment, and cargo securement. Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle. Immediately report mechanical concerns, accidents, delays, cargo issues, or other incidents. Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage information, route logs, receipts, and other required documentation. Communicate regularly and professionally with dispatch/management regarding routes, delivery status, delays, and schedule changes. Provide courteous and professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations. Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety requirements, and company policies. Use GPS/navigation systems to efficiently plan and complete routes. Remain flexible regarding routes, destinations, and schedules based on business and delivery needs. Qualifications Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing. CDL is not required. Clean and safe driving history preferred. Comfortable driving long distances and traveling across state lines. Ability and willingness to complete overnight and multi-day trips when required. Strong navigation, route-planning, and time-management skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Comfortable using smartphones, GPS/navigation applications, and electronic communication while working. Ability to maintain accurate delivery and trip documentation. Must demonstrate good judgment and professionalism while representing the company.
Pay:
