Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver on a dedicated regional route, where your expertise will keep goods moving efficiently and safely across designated areas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for delivering freight promptly and maintaining exceptional customer service throughout your route. This is a Regional SE Division Dry Van position hauling dedicated company freight with customer backhauls as needed. Drivers run approximately 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week and are home weekly. Starting pay is $0.60 per mile for qualified drivers. Freight is 100% no-touch and approximately 60% drop and hook. You can qualify geographically if you live within 100 miles of one of those approved hiring locations, which include the following: Morrow Georgia (30260) Covington, Georgia (30014) Responsibilities and Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 years of tractor-trailer experience Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and Dry Van, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Execute Dedicated driving routes with precision, ensuring timely deliveries across regional areas while managing GPS navigation systems for optimal routing. Manage logistics cargo handling efficiently, including truck loading/unloading and securing freight to meet safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly. Weekly Home Time!!!Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving within regional territories. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation logistics. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures related to truck driving. Skilled in using GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips. Ability to load/unload freight manually while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling. Experience with freight management systems and documentation required for trucking operations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
Pay:
