Your expertise in driving, route planning, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques while ensuring cargo integrity and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow designated routes and optimize delivery schedules. Transport automobile parts, strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking for hazards or mechanical issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any unforeseen delays or incidents. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving. Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during load & unload procedures. Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning.
