LOCAL / HOME DAILY - CDL-A TRUCK DRIVER - OPEN DECK, FLATBED, STEP-DECK
Bennett Motor Express McDonough, GA | Full-Time | $27.00/HR + Overtime
ABOUT THE ROLE
Bennett Motor Express is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Truck Driver to support yard operations between our McDonough, GA facility and Hampton, GA. This is a local, home-daily position built around consistent hours and a dependable team that will keep you busy. If you take pride in safe cargo securement, know your way around open-deck equipment, and want a steady schedule with a company that treats people like family — this is the seat for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Local shuttle runs Hampton, GA, and metro Atlanta. Secure cargo on a pre-loaded open-deck trailer Hand off Bills of Lading (BOLSs) to Customers and Bennett staff Assist with yard organization and trailer management throughout the shift Support additional trailer/yard management duties as assigned
Schedule :
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm (some days may run longer) Saturday approximately 1 out of 4 Saturdays (25%) 7:00am-1:00pm when needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Safe cargo securement is paramount in this role. We need someone who treats every load like it matters — because it does. Valid CDL-A required Demonstrated open-deck / flatbed experience Strong working knowledge of cargo securement standards (chains, straps, binders, tarping) Comfortable with local yard and shag driving duties Able to read and process BOL documentation Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Clean driving record preferred
