Job Summary Pomaika'i Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Bulk Cement Driver to join our team. The Bulk Cement Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering bulk cement to various customer locations while providing reliable and professional service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, proper equipment operation, timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate paperwork. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of being a reliable part of our Pomaika'i ohana. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial tractor and bulk cement tanker. Pick up, transport, and deliver bulk cement to various customer and jobsite locations. Properly load and unload bulk cement using the appropriate equipment and procedures. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor, trailer, hoses, and related equipment. Follow all DOT, company, customer, and jobsite safety requirements. Ensure loads are transported safely and within legal weight limits. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, timesheets, and other required paperwork. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, equipment concerns, or changes to scheduled work. Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and work environment. Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly. Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers and jobsite personnel. Follow company policies and procedures at all times. Perform other driving-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience. Clean driving record. Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer and bulk cement equipment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Ability to perform required vehicle inspections. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow dispatch schedules. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers, dispatchers, and fellow employees. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to pass all required drug, alcohol, and employment screenings. Physical Requirements Ability to safely enter and exit commercial trucks throughout the workday. Ability to connect and disconnect hoses and other equipment used during cement deliveries. Ability to bend, climb, reach, and perform other physical tasks associated with operating commercial equipment. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather and jobsite conditions.
