Job Description

Roll Off Driver We are seeking a qualified and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to join our transportation team. This position requires an individual who demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating roll off trucks to transport containers and materials throughout our service area while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Transport roll off containers to and from customer locations in a timely and professional manner Operate roll off truck equipment safely and efficiently, including hydraulic systems for loading and unloading containers Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with all weight restrictions and transportation regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance activities Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding scheduling and service requirements Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies Perform minor maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues promptly Provide courteous and professional customer service during all interactions Ensure proper placement and removal of containers at customer sites with attention to property protection Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle Respond appropriately to changing weather conditions and road hazards
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B or Class A Clean driving record with no major violations Minimum two years of commercial driving experience preferred Ability to operate roll off truck hydraulic systems Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety requirements Excellent spatial awareness and backing skills Physical ability to perform job duties including climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to read maps and follow directions Basic mathematical skills for weight calculations and measurements We offer competitive compensation and benefits to qualified candidates who meet our standards of excellence.
