Hour Overview:
The Delivery Driver supports scheduled route deliveries, unscheduled pick-ups, and daily warehouse transfers for the Sullivan Family Distribution Center (SFDC) and its family of stores. The ideal candidate is responsible, dependable, and service-oriented, with the ability to accurately prepare and deliver products to SFOC store locations within specified time frames.
Essential Job Duties:
Report to work on time and in uniform with a positive attitude and demeanor Perform scheduled route deliveries, unscheduled pick-ups/deliveries, and daily transfers between warehouses Accurately prepare, organize, load, and unload products; verify delivery accuracy against manifests prior to departure and upon arrival Operate company vehicles safely and in full compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and pre/post-trip inspection requirements Operate electric/manual pallet jacks, rider jacks, sit-down forklift, or stand-up forklift as needed Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with GMP and company policies Assist with vehicle maintenance and upkeep as directed; perform any additional duties as assigned

Working Environment:
Warehouse and outdoor environment with varying temperatures; flexible schedule required including early AM shifts, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime
Mental Demands:
Ability to work independently as well as with the team with minimal supervision Must maintain focus during tasks, especially when dealing with time-sensitive deliveries or repetitive work Ability to plan and manage delivery routes efficiently and be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and priorities
Physical Demands:
Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs; stand or walk for extended periods; perform repetitive physical tasks; and work in hot or cold environments. Vision, hearing, speech, and literacy required.
Knowledge/Skills:
Safe vehicle operation with strong knowledge of traffic laws and route management Equipment experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers preferred Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to meet strict delivery deadlines with a sense of urgency Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with management, team members, and store personnel
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum one year of driving or delivery experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
