Overview:

The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for delivering concrete and maintaining equipment. The Dump Truck Driver is a full-time, seasonal position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Regional Manager, and has no supervisory responsibility. Responsibilities:

Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as required. Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed. Process required paperwork throughout the day (time reporting, truck reports, scale tickets). Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns. Visually inspect mix for proper materials, verify load size to the ticket, check for the proper slump, and adjust accordingly. Deliver concrete using the most efficient route as directed by the dispatcher or Plant Manager. Must wash out the box, fuel truck, clean truck, and complete end-of-day truck inspection. Requirements:

Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test. Class B CDL and current Medical DOT card. Mechanical background and skills. Possess excellent communication skills and understand instructions in both written and verbal forms.
