Job Description

Starting wages $22.52 per hour + $0.50 CLD Premium (2nd shift differential of $2.00) $1,500 Referral Bonus Program. 80 PTO total hours after 90 Days of service. $1,500 New Hire Bonus. Performance Based Pay Raise After 90 days. $100 Monthly Perfect Attendance Bonus. Comprehensive Benefit Package.
Position Description Overall Responsibilities:
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for moving and positioning trailers within the facility's yard. This position may also be required to transport loads to offsite locations. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Essential Job Functions:
Test vehicle equipment to ensure proper operation Verify correct trailer type, size, and number Verify wheels are chocked or trailer is locked to dock prior to entering trailer Visually ensure king pin is locked before moving trailer Unload product using powered industrial machinery Assist other positions within the department Complete load audits Secure cargo for transport Place trailers in designated locations using a terminal tractor Find, load, and transport trailers to other offsite locations Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner All other duties assigned by Department Manager Position Requirements Participate in daily production meetings Complete all LMS training as assigned Complete 5S checklist Follow SOP/SPL in each area All team members are expected to adhere to VT's Safety Policies and Procedures at all times. All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL Basic math skills Forklift certified
