At LJP, drivers play a critical role in supporting our sustainability mission by safely transporting waste and recyclable materials that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future. Description LJP Waste Solutions is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL Drivers to join our growing team. Our drivers operate a variety of trucks picking up waste and recycling materials from customer locations and transporting them to disposal sites and recycling centers at our Vans Sanitation & Recycling location. Drivers are expected to operate safely on roadways as professional drivers while maintaining compliance with all CDL laws and company safety standards. This position offers the benefit of being home daily while working for a company committed to environmental responsibility and innovation. Qualified drivers may be eligible for a $5,000 Hiring Bonus. Job Responsibilities Safely operate commercial waste and recycling vehicles on assigned routes Collect and transport waste and recyclable materials from customer locations to disposal and recycling facilities Follow all DOT regulations, CDL requirements, and company safety policies Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate route and operational documentation Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members Operate vehicles safely in varying weather and traffic conditions Support operational efficiency and provide excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles Qualifications Required Qualifications Valid Drivers License and DOT Medical Card Strong commitment to safety and professionalism Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic Ability to work in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of driving experience Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience CDL Class A with Manual Endorsement preferred Previous waste, recycling, or transportation industry experience Benefits $5,000 Hiring Bonus for qualified drivers Home Daily 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insuranc...
