(Department of Transportation) regulations Full Job Description We are adding experienced Class A drivers to an established dedicated fleet serving retail locations throughout the Midwest. Drivers are home every week and operate within a consistent four-state regional area. Freight is hauled in dry van trailers and delivered directly to store locations. This is an active driving position rather than a no-touch account. Freight is unloaded box-by-box using rollers , and drivers receive additional compensation for unloading, stops, and backhauls.WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE
Your week will consist of dedicated store deliveries throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan .Drivers can expect:
Weekly home time Dedicated customer freight Dry van equipment Store delivery routes 100% driver-unload freight Box-by-box unloading using rollers Consistent, year-round freight Because unloading is part of the position, applicants should be comfortable with the physical requirements of handling freight throughout their route.HOW YOU'RE PAID
This account uses several forms of compensation:Mileage Pay:
$0.82-$0.85CPM Typical Weekly Earnings:
$1,500-$2,000Trailer Unload:
$245 per trailerBackhaul:
$70 eachStop Pay:
$25 per stop Sign-On Bonus available Actual weekly earnings can vary based on miles, routes, stops, unload activity and other applicable pay factors.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to safely operating a Class A tractor-trailer, drivers are responsible for completing scheduled store deliveries and unloading assigned freight. You'll also complete required equipment inspections, maintain driver and delivery documentation, follow account procedures, and operate in accordance with DOT and company safety requirements.EXPERIENCE & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience . Drivers must also be at least 21 years old, authorized to work in the United States, able to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements, and physically capable of performing roller-unload deliveries.
