Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL (Class A) Truck Driver focused on local routes! In this energetic role, you will operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently and safely within the local area. Your expertise in driving, load & unload procedures, and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Drive on designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure optimal safety and compliance. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs across multiple stops. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A) license with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks is preferred. Proven truck driving experience with knowledge of freight handling and route driving. Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other truck types is advantageous. Strong understanding of load & unload procedures, safety protocols, and DOT regulations. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and customer service. $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
