The City of Spencer is now accepting applications for a full-time Solid Waste Operator/Driver to work Monday-Friday 4:30am-12:30pm. CDL B or A with air brake endorsement & acceptable driving record required. $23.78/hour Duties Include Collecting garbage & trash; deliver to landfill or transfer station Completely dump all containers, leaving customer's location free of debris Works closely with the Solid Waste Superintendent to improve route efficiencies Performs light vehicle maintenance Attends safety training programs Other duties as assigned Requirements Must hold Class A or B CDL w/air brake endorsement & acceptable driving record Operate trucks & other equipment efficiently & safety, under all types of weather conditions Ability to push, pull, bend, twist & lift up to 50 lbs. & pull up to 50 lbs. regularly Must pass pre-employment fit-for-duty physical, background, drug & driving record screening
