Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A or Class B Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting materials using a range of equipment, including tractor‑trailers and flatbeds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and strict adherence to all transportation laws and regulations Duties Operate Class A or Class B trucks, including manual transmission vehicles. Safely transport freight using, flatbeds, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route driven. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on assigned routes. Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in truck driving. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in the trucking industry. Excellent route driving skills with a focus on timely deliveries. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
