Job Description
Local Shag CDL Driver Key Requirement Must be able to drive manual transmission Pay $24.10/hour $2.00 attendance bonus $1.00 night shift premium Schedule /
Hours Hours:
5:00 PM- 5:00
AM Workdays:
Currently Monday- Saturday (6 days) Rover position (fills in for vacations across all shifts) Must be flexible with shifts, schedules, and work areas Job Description Drive tractor/trailers short distances (yard/shag work) Transport and deliver freight safely and on time Follow DOT regulations and Tyson policies Perform spotting and pulling of trailers at docks and offsite warehouse Follow proper "pull light procedures" Ensure trailers are secured with nose stands and properly chocked Maintain proper product protection: Monitor temperatures Check fuel levels Ensure refrigeration units are running properly Seal finished loads and maintain seal integrity on-site Help maintain efficient traffic flow of outside drivers Keep truck yard clean and free of debris Complete pre-trip inspections and report defects immediately Maintain cleanliness of shag trucks daily Follow all Tyson safety, warehouse, and shag procedures Additional Expectations Safety must be the top priority while operating shag truck Must follow all company training and procedures Qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview
