Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks. Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers. Strong understanding of route planning and navigation skills. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
