This role involves transporting dry goods and reefer loads between Phoenix, AZ, and destinations in Idaho, Oregon, or Washington. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling manual transmissions, and ensuring timely deliveries. Candidates must reside in the Boise, ID area and be comfortable with a route that allows you to be home two times a week. Duties Operate commercial trucks on over-the-road routes between Phoenix, AZ, and the Pacific Northwest. Drive reefer trailers with dry goods one way and return with reefer loads back to Phoenix. Handle manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight. Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Keep accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or issues. Skills Valid CDL A license with relevant driving experience. Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks. Strong knowledge of over-the-road driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Excellent navigation skills for long-distance routes across multiple states. Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional attitude on the road. Reside in the Boise, ID area or nearby to facilitate the route schedule. This position offers an opportunity for experienced drivers to work on consistent routes with regular home time while handling diverse freight loads across the western United States.
