Our client is looking for dependable, hardworking Route Helpers to assist drivers with residential recycling collection for the leaf season. This is an active, outdoor position and a great opportunity to earn overtime while working as part of a route team. On-the-job training provided!

PAY/SCHEDULE:

$20.00/hour . Monday - Friday, 6:00 am until route completion (may be as late as 6:30 pm). Overtime available! Long-term temporary assignment. What you'll do: Assist the driver with prompt, courteous, and complete recycling/debris removal on designated residential routes Ride on the truck and safely assist the driver throughout assigned routes Load leaf bags, poly carts, carry bags, recycling, and waste containers into the truck Operate levers and handles used to activate lift and loading mechanisms Frequently climb on and off the truck to lift, carry, and load recycling bags and containers Assist with cleanup around the hauling station yard and keep areas clear for route drivers Perform other related duties as assigned What you'll need: Must be at least 18 years old Ability to stand, walk, and remain physically active throughout the shift Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds Ability to safely climb on and off the truck throughout the workday Dependable and able to work potentially long days as routes require Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment Drug-free All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, covered veteran status, or any other status protected by law.
