Position Overview This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of cement bulkers. Drivers will cement and other materials to inter-company locations. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Operate cement tanker deliveries to job sites. Drive cement tanker to supply terminals to pick up product and return to designated plants for unloading. Assemble loading and unloading tubes. In the event of a cement spill, assist in clean up. Clean truck after loading and delivery to prevent cement from hardening on truck and trailer. Spray surfaces of truck with acid compound to clean truck and trailer in accordance with company standards Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience . Certificates, License, Registrations Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsements. Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard. Work Requirements One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Incident free driving record preferred May be subject drug and alcohol, medical exams and physical agilities testing. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to communicate using two-way radio.
