Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting incoming shipments to our warehouse, ensuring accurate delivery, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Your expertise will help maintain seamless shipping and receiving processes, contributing to efficient inventory management and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate company trucks to pick up and deliver shipments from suppliers and distribution centers Load and unload freight using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers while adhering to safety protocols Verify shipment contents against shipping documents using inventory management software and data entry systems like ERP or AS400 Ensure accurate documentation of all inbound deliveries, including recording quantities, condition, and compliance with trade regulations Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, order picking, packing, and organizing stock within the warehouse Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment Maintain vehicle safety standards through regular inspections and proper documentation of any issues or repairs needed Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers in a warehouse environment Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Excellent data entry skills for maintaining precise records of inbound/outbound shipments and inventory movements Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external carriers Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance is a plus but not required Join us to be part of a dedicated team that keeps our supply chain moving smoothly! From $24.00 per hour
