Job Description

Hatfield Trucking Inc is looking to hire quality/experienced Class A CDL drivers. We are a family owned and operated company that has been trucking since 1989. Become a part of a trucking family where drivers are known by name, not by number. We are currently hiring for full time positions.
Compensation:
$28-32 per/hr
DOE Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Must be able to drive a manual transmission. Tanker endorsement required 2 year experience. Hazmat is strongly preferred but not necessary. Must have experience in fluid handling or ability to learn all fluid handling types such as fresh water, produced water, brine water, and waste water. Experience in connecting and disconnecting hoses, effectively monitoring pressure gauges, spill prevention, water disposal experience, flowback and tank battery experience. Pass a Department Of Transportation (DOT) physical and maintain a current medical card. Implement safe driving principles at all times. Acceptable MVR. Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check. High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
Skills and Physical Demands:
Availability to work variable shifts as dictated by business needs. Ability to drive for up to 11 hours and work a total of 14 hours, and to sit for extended periods of time in a truck tractor. Must be at least 23 years of age and meet the qualifications in 49 CFR Section 391.11(b)(1) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections required under 49 CFR Sections 396.11-15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, as well as grasp, lift, and handle heavy equipment as necessary, to ensure safety during the hooking and dropping processes of tractor/trailer combinations. Ability to climb upon the trailer when necessary. Ability to handle sections of hose that may exceed 20' in length, measure as many as 4" in diameter, and weigh as much as 75 lbs. Able to perform duties with protective equipment, H2S monitor where required. Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery. Potential exposure to loud noises, solvents, flammable atmospheres and industrial chemicals. Work is performed in all weather conditions.
Major Duties:
Drive DOT-regulated truck safely to and from work location. Load and unload cargo or operates equipment mounted on vehicle or trailer. Complete trip documentation including DOT driver log, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route and post-trip), maintenance reports, accident/incident reports, and work tickets. Perform routine maintenance and repair of equipment. May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
