Western Smokehouse Partners is looking for a Wastewater Driver. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and organized Wastewater Driver to safely and efficiently transport industrial wastewater to designated treatment or disposal facilities. This role requires strong attention to safety, compliance, teamwork, and physical stamina to perform in a hands-on, active environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and maintain a specialized wastewater truck to transport industrial wastewater.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation and disposal of wastewater.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper operation and report any issues.
  • Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and documentation (e.g., logbooks, manifests, and incident reports).
  • Follow all company waste disposal procedures and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure timely collection and disposal operations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and basic maintenance of the wastewater truck.
  • Identify and promptly report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or potential risks.
  • Continuously stay informed on industry's best practices and regulatory requirements for wastewater handling.
  • Follow all safety protocols and utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant warehouse or transportation experience.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record AND tanker endorsement.
  • Proven experience operating heavy trucks; experience with hazardous or industrial materials preferred.
  • Knowledge of wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal regulations.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a specialized wastewater truck safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound, safety-conscious decisions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of physical stamina and ability to work in varied weather conditions.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, sitting, and stooping.
  • Occasional moderate lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling (up to 50 lbs).
  • Exposure to non-air-conditioned environments for extended periods.
  • Must be able to transport and maneuver equipment and materials safely. Benefits
