Class A CDL Driver Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team. Pulling mainly hopper bottom. This is a local/regional position. Drivers are home every night, unless a specific driver request to stay out. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport bulk commodities, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules. Adhere to safety protocols and report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a commercial truck driver preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Today 4:56 pm

$1,200.00 - $1,900.00 per week
