Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CDL Class B Driver to operate our 24' refrigerated straight truck . This is primarily a local driving position with 40 hours per week guaranteed . Our drivers generally work 5 days per week , with typical hours of approximately 9:00 AM until 8:00-9:00 PM , depending on the day's workload. What We Offer Starting pay of $25.00 per hour Overtime pay , when applicable Guaranteed 40 hours per week Local routes - home after your shift Newer, well-maintained equipment Minimal handling/lumping Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Opportunities for additional higher-paying HOTSHOT runs Optional HOTSHOT Runs Occasionally, we have short overnight HOTSHOT runs available. These are offered to interested drivers and provide an opportunity to earn additional money above your regular local driving schedule . Requirements Valid CDL Class B Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience Must be comfortable driving a 24' refrigerated straight truck Must be able to speak, read, and write English Must be able to pass required background checks and driver qualification requirements Clean and professional appearance Dependable and punctual Flexibility is a must We are looking for someone who wants a steady, full-time driving position with guaranteed hours , primarily local work, and the opportunity to earn additional money when HOTSHOT runs are available.
