Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver, Equipment Operator and farm laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The candidate should be able to operate farm machinery and complete other jobs around the farm. Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks with a focus on safety and compliance with all regulations. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including freight bills and delivery receipts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Utilize manual transmission when required for specific routes or loads. Operate dump trucks and forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with route driving and navigating various terrains. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles proficiently. Experience with load unloading procedures, particularly in relation to freight handling. Knowledge of refrigerated trailers and their operation is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo transport. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork.
