if you have min 2 years of experience for Dry Van. We are seeking energetic and dedicated CDL A (Commercial Driver's License) drivers min. 2 years of experience for Over-the-Road (OTR) positions to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across long distances, delivering freight efficiently and reliably to various locations. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure our customers receive their shipments on time. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who thrive on adventure, independence, and the challenge of route driving across regions while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity. Manage a variety of trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, roll-off, and dump trucks to accommodate different freight needs. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while adjusting plans as needed based on traffic or weather conditions. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, providing exceptional service throughout the route. Qualifications Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks is preferred. Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery across regional or national routes. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment such as forklifts or manual methods when necessary. Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking operations and cargo handling. Strong route planning skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions during long-haul trips. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers.
