Position:
Flatbed Tow Truck Driver Work Schedule:
6 days per week Approximately 12 hours per day
Compensation:
Commission-based pay structure Driver receives 35% commission of generated revenue
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate the assigned vehicle at all times. Drivers are strictly prohibited from tampering with, covering, or obstructing the dash cameras installed in the trucks. Maintain the truck in clean and presentable condition. Ensure vehicles are loaded, secured, and unloaded safely and in compliance with regulations. Take clear photos around all vehicles involved in any assigned job at both pickup and drop-off locations. Photos must include any jump-start connections showing proper connection points when applicable. Any damages caused to serviced vehicles due to driver negligence, or failure to provide proper photo documentation, will be the responsibility of the driver.
Safety & Equipment Policies:
Drivers may only use handheld electronic devices while operating a vehicle if connected through a hands-free system or headset, in compliance with Illinois law. Redline Towing Inc. maintains a fueling station for company vehicles (Diesel and DEF). Any fuel or DEF spills must be cleaned immediately and properly. Failure to clean a spill will result in a $50 cleanup fee charged to the driver responsible. Drivers will be issued a tool bag with necessary equipment required to perform their duties. The assigned tool bag must be kept with the driver at all times while on duty. Drivers are required to bring the tool bag at the start of each shift and take it with them at the end of each shift. Company Property:
Drivers are responsible for the safe operation and care of company vehicles at all times. Any damage to company vehicles determined to be the result of driver negligence or fault will be the financial responsibility of the driver.
Employment Terms:
A $1,000 driver deposit is required for all new drivers. This deposit may be deducted at $200 per week until the full $1,000 is collected. When the driver leaves the company, the deposit will be held for 30 days to ensure no claims or damages arise after employment ends. If no claims are made during this period, the full deposit will be refunded.
Pay:
