The Micar Company is currently seeking additional Class A CDL Drivers to join our transportation team in Decatur, Illinois. About the role This is a local driving opportunity. Drivers work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM , with weekends off. No overnight travel required. Home daily! Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and any issues encountered during delivery Deliver goods and materials to customers on time and in the correct condition Perform pre and post trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order Follow traffic laws and maintain a clean and organized work environment Operate forklift to load and unload trucks, possibly lifting heavy equipment Transport and organize parts/material around company grounds Requirements Maintain all safety standards Commercial driving experience and a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). The actual compensation offered will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, training, and licenses.
