PART TIME DRIVERS/OPERATORS NEEDED
(Ideal for firefighters/EMTs who can work a rotating day shift opposite their FD shift) or able to work M,T,W during the day. Full Time Drivers/Operators needed (Work 4/5 weekdays based on available hours) O'HARE area & WESTERN SUBURBS Smash My Trash is operating in over 45 states and expanding in Illinois. ABOUT YOU
Safely and efficiently operate our mobile smash machine or "Smash Truck" to compact the contents of open top roll-off dumpsters. Ensure truck is clean, safe to operate, and ready to go. Work with a contract diesel mechanic and hydraulics technician to ensure that your truck is always in great shape. While you'll love your 25,000-pound Kenworth T270 truck, you also enjoy working with people.
WILL GET PAID TO FULFILL A CHILDHOOD DESIRE TO SMASH STUFF IN A BIG TRUCK QUALIFICATIONS
✓ 3 years of experience safely operating a class 6 truck (i.e., dump truck, garbage truck, backhoe, ambulance, fire truck, or bus) ✓ Skilled with a smartphone and the use of apps ✓ Ability to handle a physical workload ✓ Valid driver's license with good driving record. ✓ Ability to pass a physical exam, a background check, and a drug screening ✓ Ability to attend live immersive driver/equipment operator training during onboarding A class B CDL is not required but a "C" license is. Experience maintaining a Kenworth truck and hydraulic equipment would be a huge plus! $23-$25/hr.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
- Looking for PT candidates who can immediately work rotating shifts of approximately 8 hours, 2-3 days per week. This PT schedule would be ideally suited to Firefighters/EMT's looking to compliment their current rotating shifts, or candidates looking to augment their current part time job where they currently are working 2-3 days per week or even candidates looking for flexibility to only have 2-3 days to work in order to pursue other personal interests.
