Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks including flatbed, dump truck, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring that loads are properly secured and delivered on time. Responsibilities Operate and drive different types of trucks including tractor-trailer, roll-off trucks, and tankers. Load and unload cargo safely. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained at all times. Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding transportation. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving with knowledge of various truck types including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and tankers. Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
