Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Truck Driver/Shop Laborer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of freight while supporting shop operations. This position combines commercial truck driving with hands-on shop labor, offering a diverse and rewarding work environment. Duties Driver Safely operate a commercial box truck, ensuring timely delivery of freight around the Chicagoland area. Efficiently pick up parts and material from local customers and vendors with the company truck. Any other duties related to driving the company truck. Shop Laborer Unload freight truck when material is delivered. Stock material. Cut and saw material. Stamp parts. Operate lift truck. Dump chip hoppers. Sandblast parts. General clean up of shop and offices. Mow and maintain lawn. Any/all other misc. shop duties. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must have a clean driving record.
