Job Description

Decker Truck Line, Inc., a family-owned carrier since 1931, is hiring CDL A Flatbed Truck Drivers. In this role, you'll haul flatbed freight across regional and OTR lanes, focusing on safe, on-time delivery. Responsibilities include securing and tarping loads, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and complying with DOT and FMCSA regulations. You'll use ELDs, maintain accurate paperwork, and communicate closely with dispatch. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A flatbed trucks for regional and OTR freight Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads per DOT and company standards Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and logging requirements Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminals Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation Provide professional, courteous service at shippers and receivers Participate in ongoing safety and skills training programs Required Skills CDL A truck operation Flatbed load securement Tarping and cargo protection
