Inspect vehicles, safety equipment, and cargo to ensure safe operating conditions and properly secured loads. Plan and follow assigned routes, comply with weigh station requirements, maintain required driving logs and transportation documentation, and follow applicable DOT, state, and federal safety regulations. Communicate with dispatch, customers, vendors, and other drivers as necessary. Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions and assist with loading or unloading when required.
