Job Description
Overview Class A CDL Driver. In this energetic role, you will operate tractor-trailers across diverse routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Hauling grain and other agricultural related products. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards Use GPS navigation systems to plan and follow optimal routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with all traffic laws and safety protocols Load and unload cargo manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo in accordance with safety procedures Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with Class A CDL licenses Hands-on experience with flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized freight transportation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving Delivery driver experience demonstrating reliability in route driving and customer service excellence Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently
