School Social Worker (SSW) - Full-Time | Full School Year A school district in Northern Illinois is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker (SSW) to support students in an early childhood/pre-kindergarten setting for the full school year.

Building-based School Social Worker position serving the assigned pre-k program Responsibilities Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students. Conduct assessments and contribute to special education evaluations as needed. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of student services. Provide individual and group interventions to promote student success. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement Strong collaboration, assessment, and communication skills School-based experience preferred Interview & Hiring Process Interview scheduling is flexible District is prepared to move quickly through the hiring process Prompt hiring decisions anticipated following interviews > Onboarding Requirements Fingerprinting required prior to start Why Consider This Opportunity?
