Job Description

Job Overview The Bulk Driver is an operationally flexible position responsible for providing scheduled and as-needed coverage across bulk tanker delivery and microbulk delivery. This role exists to ensure continuity of delivery operations during driver absences, peak demand periods, and schedule gaps. The position operates company bulk liquid tanker trucks and related delivery vehicles, performs safe product transfer at customer and facility sites, and maintains all required documentation in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and ILMO Products Company standards. Duties Delivery Operations
  • Operate company bulk liquid tanker trucks and microbulk liquid trucks to pick up product at the source and make scheduled deliveries to ILMO facilities and customer sites on assigned routes.
  • Provide backup for Freight delivery routes.
  • Operate bulk filling systems to load trailers as needed.
  • Perform all unloading operations at customer sites, including connecting and disconnecting transfer hoses and monitoring gauges and pressure levels for safe product transfer. Safety & Compliance
  • Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation on the truck, tanker, valves, and all associated equipment.
  • Report any incidents, near-misses, equipment damage, or safety concerns immediately. Documentation & Communication
  • Maintain accurate delivery records including receipts, Bills of Lading, hours-of-service logs, and hazardous materials documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, route changes, or equipment concerns.
  • Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes. Vehicle & Equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
  • Arrange vehicle maintenance when necessary.
  • Refuel vehicles and ensure they are always ready for use. Additional Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
  • Comply with all ILMO Products Company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Education, experience, certification:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Class-A CDL with Tanker (T) and Hazmat (H) or Combined (X) endorsements required.
  • Current medical card and safe driving record required.

  • Dependability and ability to adapt to quickly changing operational needs.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience driving a liquid tanker in a professional capacity.
  • Experience using GPS technology.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with the local service area.
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
