Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently across over-the-road (OTR) routes, local deliveries, or specialized loads such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of hazardous or dangerous goods in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations and FMCSA guidelines Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security Follow all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT standards for safe driving practices and cargo handling Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Skills Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers with manual transmission capabilities Strong knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling techniques Familiarity with route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning Ability to handle hazardous materials safely in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations and Dangerous Goods standards Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols Experience with delivery driving across various routes including OTR routes and local route driving Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for load & unload operations Join us as a CDL Driver to enjoy a rewarding career that combines your passion for driving with the opportunity to deliver essential freight safely and efficiently.
