Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer trucks with tanker configuration to transport hazardous freight loads. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and cargo to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Unload materials using air or pumps. Follow designated routes for delivery and route driving, adhering to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, inspection reports, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and emergency responders if necessary during transportation or incidents. Uphold safety standards at all times by properly handling hazardous materials according to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines and other regulatory requirements. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers hauling liquids or hazardous materials. Familiarity with automatic transmission trucks Experience with tanker trucks, load & unload procedures, and handling hazardous cargo safely. Knowledge of route driving best practices and adherence to safety regulations governing hazmat transportation. Strong physical stamina to perform vehicle inspections, unload material, and handle equipment safely.
