Adjustments can be made by request from employee, but this is how it is laid out as of right now: Monday (Libertyville), Tuesday (Mundelein), Wednesday (Vernon Hills), Thursday (Wauconda), and Friday (Libertyville.) Route takes about 2 hours on Monday, 2 hours on Tuesdays, 2 hours on Wednesdays, 4 hours on Thursdays, and 3 hours on Fridays for a total of 13 hours weekly. This route is growing, and we can add more houses if you want.
Work Hours:
The work must be done between the hours of 7am and 3:30pm.
Compensation:
Pays approximately $370.00 weekly, or the equivalent of $26/hr.
Job Summary:
We have an immediate need for a Field Collector (a.k.a. Poop Scooper) in our Northwest Territory. As a Field Collector you will travel from customer-to-customer collecting dog waste utilizing a shovel and lobby pan. All tools, and equipment, are provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Drive to assigned customer locations and collect dog waste 2. Complete houses in the mobile app 3. Dispose of collected dog waste via assigned location
Position Requirements:
1. Must have experience laboring outside 2. Must be able to lift and carry at least 40lbs 3. Reliable transportation 4. Valid driver's license and good driving record 5. Pass a criminal background check 6. Basic technological skills including ability to send and receive email, use a mobile phone for calling/texting, and GPS for navigation. 7. Must be willing to work in all weather including HOT; COLD, RAIN, SNOW, etc...
Education and Experience:
This position requires at least a High School Diploma. No prior dog waste removal experience is required, however it is preferred. Must be independent, energetic, reliable, accountable, and have good communication skills.
