- Safely operate roll off dumpster trucks to pick up and deliver containers
- Perform pre
- and post-trip inspections on vehicles
- Secure containers properly on the truck for transportation
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate routes and schedules
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading containers as needed
Required Skills:
- Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Knowledge of operating dump truck, or tractor-trailer vehicles
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with mechanical aspects of vehicles
- Previous experience specifically with roll off trucks
- Work Schedule & Expectations
- Full-time position
- Overtime is common during spring/summer/fall months
- Workload slows during winter (primarily January-February)
