Job Description

SIAF is seeking Class A CDL Drivers for local dump truck hauling and regional van freight hauling. Home every night! Experience is preferred but not required. SIAF is an EEO Employer.
Requirements:
Class A CDL Current DOT Physical Good driving record Pass pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Keep trailer cleaned out as needed Report defects, accidents or violations Report to work consistently and on-time Submit daily paperwork to office Communicate with dispatch as needed Summary As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various locations. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations. Core skills in commercial driving and truck operation are essential. Your relevant experience with load and unload procedures, as well as familiarity with different truck types, will enhance your effectiveness in this position.
