Join our growing fleet of trucks as a Local CDL-A End Dump Truck Driver, specializing in dump truck operations within the Chicagoland area. SFI Topsoil has been providing premium topsoil at wholesale prices to the Chicagoland area since 2009. We are a dynamic team focused on delivering excellence, and we are looking for drivers to contribute to our success.
Job Description:
We are seeking a driver with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting various materials to and from job sites across the Chicagoland area. This position requires the operation of manual transmission dump trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a manual transmission dump truck within the Chicagoland area.
  • Load, transport, and unload various materials as required.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and job site personnel.
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork as required.
Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL-A (Commercial Driver's License) required.
  • 3 years of experience driving a dump truck
  • Ability to operate manual transmission trucks.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
