Summary:

Southwest Oil, located in Morris, IL, has been family owned and operated for 47 years. We are a small but growing company that's looking for a Route Driver/Transport Driver to join our team to deliver and pick up bulk oil. Our Drivers are self-motivated individuals who primarily work locally to deliver non-hazardous used oil. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking candidate who is driven and willing to learn & grow with our company.

Requirements:

Southwest Oil requires a CDL-A and a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable driving experience with clean MVR. Tank endorsement/airbrakes and ability to drive 10-speed manual is required. The successful candidate will be energetic, and be team-oriented.

Specific Duties:

Perform pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer. Drive to customer locations to unload product. Properly document all freight control processes. Inspects vehicle and equipment for safe operation. Maintain daily inspection records. Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly. Maintain daily logs. Good written and oral skills. Attention to detail and aptitude for problem solving. Safely operate vehicle in accordance with US DOT, local, state and federal requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
