We are looking for recently licensed to experienced truck drivers to haul industrial products and supplies in a safe and timely manner. This is a daily, local run and you'll be home every day. This will be flatbed load delivering to daily local route with 3-5 stops daily. You will use a forklift to unload parts and machines. Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver, dump, flat bed, box truck, van Forklift experience required Using a flatbed to haul manufacturing parts and machines daily to 3-5 clients Ability to lift 50 lbs Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc Valid truck driving license, CDL Class A only Mon thru Friday. 7am-4pm 2 years of experience or more preferred, 6 months of experience to be considered.
