Join Komin Cartage LLC as a Local End-Dump Driver and become a vital part of our growing aggregate and heavy equipment hauling operation! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles and end-dump trailers on local and regional routes throughout the Chicago suburbs, ensuring the timely delivery of construction materials and bulk commodities to essential infrastructure projects. Position Standard Pay Rate :

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, for standard private and commercial hauling projects.

Premium Project Potential :

Opportunity to earn Illinois prevailing wages when dispatched to public infrastructure/government set-aside contracts. For example, our Lake County prevailing wage projects offer a base pay of $46.79/hr, plus $15.00/hr for health & welfare, and $14.20/hr for pension. Benefits & 401(k)

Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week (Steady regional day shifts).

Responsibilities :

Safely operate late-model commercial tractors and 23-foot end-dump trailers, ensuring strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and DOT safety standards. Navigate efficiently using truck-specific GPS navigation systems to reach delivery sites on time and optimize routes. Manage secure operation of specialized dump equipment, including utilizing single-line wet kits and high-lift air gates safely on construction sites. Maintain accurate electronic / paper documentation of daily loads, digital tickets (via dispatch apps), and pre-/post-trip vehicle safety inspections (DVIR). Communicate effectively with dispatchers and project managers to coordinate job site delivery priorities.

Qualifications :

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Absolute dependability, strong work ethic, and punctual attendance. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with end-dump or aggregate hauling. Strict commitment to safety, including the ability to successfully pass an initial and randomized DOT drug screening program.
