Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience hauling grain to local elevators. Employee will drive our trucks and use our fuel. The ideal candidate will be open to participating in other farm tasks such as maintenance on vehicles, be willing to moving tractors or equipment to fields from home farm, and cleaning of semis/trailers/tractors. The employee will have the possibility to work in the fields or on machinery when no driving is available. Competitive hourly wage, based on experience. Open to as many hours as you would like to work. Overtime available after 40. Duties
- Transport grain over short or medium distances
- Follow safety regulations and traffic laws at all times
- Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure proper maintenance Experience
- Previous experience as a truck driver is mandatory
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with various truck types and their specific requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to adapt to different road and weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
